As Night Falls
As night falls,
I see the moon and stars.
I feel the energy of silence and sense security.
For it is here, and it is mine.
I welcome clarity.
Lantern in hand,
My bare feet traverse fertile soil with blades of fresh grass,
Exploring the wisdom of the Universe.
I celebrate my higher self.
I appreciate myself.
Walking in darkness,
I feel nothing but love and light.
I seek solace under my favorite tree.
Refuge I take from shelter freely given.
For there is nothing that replaces
This sacred space.
There is a sense of rest.
This is my time—blessed and mine.
My feet rooting into the energy of the earth,
Sustaining me.
I feel as one with all that is around me,
Taking lessons from the secrets I know.
Inviting in what will soon be bestowed to me,
And knowing that will be revealed to me—as night falls.

The Universe Speaking
The Universe speaks.
I am now finally listening.
It whispers with gentle breezes,
Shouts with claps of thunder,
Smiles with gentle rainfall,
Awakens me with sunlight,
Calms me with the presence of the moon.
It’s messengers include elements of nature,
The warmness of a joyful heart,
The smile from a stranger,
The embrace from a dear friend.
The Universe is always speaking.
It also speaks through me,
For I am one with it.
So I choose my footsteps and words with care,
Because someone else may, too,
Be now finally listening.

The Sabbat Of Samhain
The veil is thin.
We work within.
The Sabbat of Samhain will begin again.
The veil is thin.
We celebrate our kin.

We light the candles and the hearth,
Invite our loved ones in.
Dew on the pumpkins,
Crispness in the air.
On this sacred night
Our bounty do we share.
We feast from the harvest,
Invite our loved ones in.
As the nights grow colder,
The Great Wheel turns again
The veil is thin.
We work within.
The Sabbat of Samhain will begin again.
The veil is thin.
We celebrate our kin.

We light the candles and the hearth,
Invite our loved ones in.

Poem For The Gnomes

Throughout the night these lights will burn
A safe hearth is all we ask in return
May this candle give you light
For all the tasks you complete at night
We offer you crystals and shiny things
And wish you the magick that each of them brings
You tend to nature and never tire
Your presence here does truly inspire
Come into our garden to play and to rest
Give our plants nurture and make them their best
Winter, spring, summer, and fall
You bring forth rains and make trees grow tall
You, dear gnomes, are welcome here
Share our space without any fear
Protect and guard us in all that we do
And know that each day we celebrate you
Blessed be
